Privacy Policy

We do not sell your data and we do not track you across other websites. We measure how the menu is used so the restaurant can run it better, and we pass on the order details you choose to send.

When you open a menu we record, for that menu only:

• Whether you arrived from a QR scan or a link, and the referring site
• Device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language and timezone
• Approximate location — city and state, worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider. We do not ask for or use GPS.
• Which items appeared on your screen, what you added to the cart, and how long you stayed
• A random identifier stored on your device so a repeat visit can be recognised as a repeat visit

Your IP address is not stored. It is converted into an irreversible one-way hash the moment it reaches our server. The hash lets us count unique visitors; it cannot be turned back into an IP address or used to identify you.

When you place an order you enter your name and phone number. These go to the restaurant you are ordering from, so they can confirm and deliver the order — that is the only purpose.

Each restaurant sees only its own customers. A number you give one restaurant is never shared with another restaurant on our platform, and is never sold or given to advertisers.

Your name and phone are also saved in your own browser so you do not have to type them again. Clearing your browser data removes them.

We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We store a small amount of data in your browser's local storage: your cart, your name and phone for reuse, and a random visit identifier.

Usage data is kept for up to 24 months so year-on-year comparisons are possible. Order and customer records are kept by the restaurant for as long as they hold an account with us.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us at the contact below and we will act within 30 days. Since we identify customers by phone number, please write from or mention the number you ordered with.
